Charlie has had a fever for a few days. After a trip to the pediatricians office she ruled out an ear infection and said she thought it was Hand Foot Mouth disease. I personally don't think Charlie has sores on his hands or feet or mouth. He has a few spots but not blisters. More than anything he has a rash all over his trunk which makes me think it's just a random virus. Dr. Hoffman ruled out the tissue expanders being infected because he said they would be red and he would be super fussy. He said anytime he has seen an infection, the person feels like they have the flu for days before even the fever hits Charlie hasn't been very fussy so I think his expanders are fine.
The doctor also confirmed our surgery date is May 16 at approximately 12:20pm. He also said he will need to stay overnight which I wasn't planning on. Last week he put 40 cc's in the front and 15 cc's in each back. This week he put 50 cc's in the front and 15 cc's in the back ones. This means we are at 360 cc's in the front and 160 cc's in each back one which means he has 680 cc's total on his head!
